Ephesians Week 6
Ephesians 3:1-13 – Being captured by Christ leads believers to be stewards of God’s grace and partakers of His covenant promise, so that through the Church the gospel can be proclaimed.

Ephesians Week 5
Last week in Ephesians 2:1-10 Paul describes our vertical relationship with God. This week in Ephesians 2:11-22 Paul describes our horizontal relationship with believers. Because God saved us, we are one with Christ and one with other believers.

Ephesians Week 4
Ephesians 2:1-10 – Before Christ we are deed in our sins and trespasses. BUT GOD – The most grace-filled words – being rich in mercy, loved us with a great love. In God’s kindness we have been made alive together with Christ.

Ephesians Week 3
Ephesians 1:15-23 – Paul prays the eyes of the Ephesians’ hearts would be enlightened so they would receive wisdom and revelation from the Holy Spirit. Because the Holy Spirit now lives in us, we have spiritual eyes to see spiritual things.

Ephesians 1:3-14 reveals the presence of the Trinity and encourages the reader to examine how the Trinity is involved in salvation.

Ephesians Week 1
The book of Ephesians provides its readers with a theological textbook. Originally written for churches in and around Ephesus, Paul teaches who we in Christ and how we should behave as Christ followers. What we believe about God and who we are in Christ (orthodoxy) should drive our behavior (orthopraxy).

Esther 7:1-8:17 – God’s providence in the book of Esther is seen in the rescue of the Jews and the condemnation of Haman – deliverance of one and condemnation of the other are two sides of the same coin

Esther 4:1-17 – God will accomplish His purposes even if His people refuse to obey because there is nothing outside the influence of the purposes of God

Esther 3:1–14 – Through God’s providential unfolding of His Word, we see how events found in Exodus 17 and 1 Samuel 15 will be culminated in the book of Esther.

Esther 2 – Our heavenly Father is omnipotent (all-powerful) and omniscient (all-knowing). He works though flawed people to accomplish His good and perfect will.
