  • Ephesians Week 13

Ephesians 6:10-17 – The Spiritual Battle Plan Paul outlines in Ephesians 6:10-17 comes after Paul has reminded the believers at Ephesus who they are in Christ and the power that is at work within them. Paul’s letter culminates with exhortation to “Stand Firm!” in what God has provided through Christ in our salvation, regeneration, and…

  • Ephesians Week 11

Ephesians 5:21-33 – Husbands and wives, parents and children, masters and servants have equal dignity as image bearers, but different God appointed roles. Submission is not a bad word, and headship is not dictatorial power; rather both are God-honoring acts of worship in a marriage relationship.

  • Ephesians Week 10

Ephesians 5:1-20 – Paul urges his readers to imitate God, as His beloved children by living a life characterized by love. This love, mirroring Christ’s sacrificial devotion, creates a pleasing aroma of worship to God.

  • Ephesians Week 9

Ephesians 4:17-32 – Sanctification is not automatic after salvation. Believers must choose to walk in a manner that matches the spiritual identity by putting off the old self and putting on the new self.

  • Ephesians Week 8

Ephesians 4:1-16 – As the letter of Ephesians turns from theological doctrine to practical application, Paul encourages believers to walk worthy of the calling they have received.

  • Ephesians Week 7

Ephesians 3:14-21 – In Ephesians 1:15-23, Paul prayed for enlightenment through the Holy Spirit for believers. This week we see Paul praying for enablement through the Holy Spirit for believers.

  • Ephesians Week 6

Ephesians 3:1-13 – Being captured by Christ leads believers to be stewards of God’s grace and partakers of His covenant promise, so that through the Church the gospel can be proclaimed.

  • Ephesians Week 5

Last week in Ephesians 2:1-10 Paul describes our vertical relationship with God. This week in Ephesians 2:11-22 Paul describes our horizontal relationship with believers. Because God saved us, we are one with Christ and one with other believers.

  • Ephesians Week 4

Ephesians 2:1-10 – Before Christ we are deed in our sins and trespasses. BUT GOD – The most grace-filled words – being rich in mercy, loved us with a great love. In God’s kindness we have been made alive together with Christ.

  • Ephesians Week 3

Ephesians 1:15-23 – Paul prays the eyes of the Ephesians’ hearts would be enlightened so they would receive wisdom and revelation from the Holy Spirit. Because the Holy Spirit now lives in us, we have spiritual eyes to see spiritual things.
